We went to Nashville to have some fun, visit friends and see the sights. Somewhere along the way we won 2nd Place in the “Society for the Preservation of Blue Grass Music in America” International Bluegrass Band Championship. We’re very happy and excited to have done so well in a contest of many great bands. Thanks to everyone for their comments and questions while we were there. We hope to see you all in the future. See our photos!

Special thanks to the Wayne County News staff for the front page story today. One correction we’d like to make, however.. The location of the Highway 23 Jamboree on May 3rd is Ashland, Kentucky’s Paramount Theater, and not Louisa as reported in the article.

Wilson Creek will be playing a short 30-45 minute set to try out some new songs and arrangements as we open the show for Acoustic/Bluegrass band, Blue Moon Rising. Come and check us out while we warm up the crowd and push the stylistic boundaries of what is usually a bluegrass-only venue.
